Hullo everyone! :D Had my DipABRSM music exam today. For those who are unfamiliar with it, it's... well, basically the next level above grade 8 (highest grade in music, after that it goes Diploma [what I did today], LiscenceE [or something], Fellowship)... so it's erm, pretty high tbh ^^;;

That's why I've been pretty inactive for ages--been practising my arse off, basically :( But thing is, I have this problem where I can play fiiine, but then if you ask me to play the pieces again a short while later, nerves will get the better of me and I will mess up.

Which is basically what happened in my exam today; I had an hrs practise time before it began, where I played *fine*, then in the exam, everything just... fell apart.

My music teacher was in there with me as my page turner. Seriously, he was worried for me. We don't know if I passed; I will just have my fingers crossed, but lets just say, I wanted to cry in my exam... Sigh.

But now that that's over, I can concentrate on finding a job, yay! :D

I'm really glad it's finally over though. Been working towards it for so long, I'm just sooo happy that I've finally done it. Pass or fail, it's over and done with now... Gosh, such a load off my chest! ^_^

So I went to watch my school's production of High School Musical tonight; really was crap the first half. The number of off-key notes were unbearable I had to actually subtly cover my ears at one point... And we couldn't hear half of what the cast said, 'Gabriella' had a severe attitude problem and it was just generally dead. Seriously the cast were so... well, it was like someone had grabbed a big vacuum and sucked out all their energy.

I was expecting a lively performance >_>;;

But yeah, that being said, I really enjoyed the second half :) People finally managed to sing erm... a bit better, but even if we still couldn't hear what most the cast were saying, they were a lot livelier, which just automatically made the play much better ^_^

I'm sure you did better then you thought on your exam! I know what you mean though. I'll know how to do something or say something in Korean/Mandarin/Japanese and then when I go to use it I can't remember or I say it wrong and I have to correct myself. :( I can't wait to find out what your results are though! XD *chu*

i get scared very easily and always want to lay low. but somehow i realise i could just overcome my fear by just imagining my other self holding a rifle and shoot if myself saying negative things until there's nothing of me left or i don't hear the negative words anymore.
